Modern Exploration Underway
Trinity One has entered into an agreement through Metales de Chile SpA providing the exclusive option to acquire a 100% interest in the Nueva Chañarcillo Project in Chile’s Atacama Region. The Property covers the area surrounding Juan Godoy’s original 1832 silver discovery within the historic Chañarcillo silver district, together with established exploitation mining concessions.
Nueva Chañarcillo is located approximately 65 kilometres south of Copiapó and approximately 14 kilometres east of the Pan American Highway accessible by well maintained gravel roads connecting straight to the highway. The project lies at elevations of approximately 850 to 1,250 metres above sea level and benefits from road access within one of Chile’s most established mining regions.
The Chañarcillo district was discovered by Juan Godoy in 1832 and subsequently developed into one of the most important silver districts in Chilean history. Public historical records cited by the Company report more than 100 million ounces of historical silver production from the broader Chañarcillo mine. Historical mining declined following groundwater inflows that exceeded the dewatering capabilities available to operators at the time.
Historical technical literature describes extraordinarily high grade silver mineralisation within portions of the district. Sillitoe (2007), summarising earlier work by Whitehead (1919), reported silver grades of approximately 2.0% to 2.5% silver within portions of the oxidised zone, equivalent to approximately 20,000 to 25,000 g/t silver. The upper portion of the underlying sulphide zone was reported at approximately 0.35% to 0.8% silver, equivalent to 3,500 to 8,000 g/t silver. These historical figures relate to specific mineralised zones and ore shoots and do not represent average grades of the Property or a current mineral resource or mineral reserve.
Modern exploration of the Property has been limited relative to its extensive mining history. In 2002, Atna Resources completed 19 reverse circulation drill holes totalling approximately 2,830 metres. The programme included a reported intercept of 2.0 metres grading 2,390 g/t silver and 0.25% zinc from 58 to 60 metres downhole in drill hole C02-R11. The high grade intercept has not subsequently been systematically followed up with modern silver-focused drilling.
Much of the historic mining followed individual high-grade structures using nineteenth-century mining methods, leaving areas between, beneath and along strike from historical workings largely untested by modern exploration. Trinity One believes this provides an opportunity to apply modern geophysics, geological modelling and diamond drilling to a district with exceptional historical silver endowment.
Trinity One has already completed a detailed drone based topographic and aerophotogrammetric survey covering approximately 1,600 hectares across the historic district. The next phase of exploration includes a high resolution UAV magnetic survey covering approximately 12 km², systematic sampling of historical mine waste and tailings, integration of historical mine plans and drilling into a new 3D geological model, and generation of priority drill targets.
An initial diamond drilling programme is targeted for Q4 2026 and is planned to test shallow extensions of historically mined high grade silver zones, the area surrounding the historic 2.0 metre at 2,390 g/t silver intercept, and new targets generated through the airborne magnetic programme.
